RedLight & Infrared Therapy

How Does Red Light Therapy Work?
At CTW our DeepRed beds is equipped with an exclusive combination of 633nm, 660nm, 810nm, 850nm and 950nm wavelengths which allows for targeted therapy and maximum efficacy.
RedLight & Infrared light stimulate mitochondria. These wavelengths of light cause your mitochondria to produce more energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP provides the fuel that each cell needs to carry out all of its functions, including regeneration and healing. Red and Near-Infrared light are able to penetrate deeper into the human body and are able to reach the cells, tissues, fat and muscle.
The benefits of red light: RedLight between 600-700nm offers benefits for skin texture and tone, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, promoting collagen production and generally rejuvenating the appearance of skin and hair.
Health
Can help to enhance your energy and overall health by stimulating the mitochondria and producing energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
Enhances mental wellbeing, in both daily life and during stressful times. Studies have shown encouraging results that red light can help to boost serotonin and dopamine levels.
Numerous studies have shown that Red Light & Infrarred Therapy can profoundly benefit people with osteoarthritis (often called just “arthritis”). Red Light Therapy works by increasing natural energy (ATP) production in joint cells, which helps to reduce inflammation and normalize the joints biology and function. It not an alternative to medically recommended treatment but is recommended as complimentary.
Can help to improve chronic pain and inflammation by increasing blood flow to the damaged tissues as well as flushing the lymphatic system to promote body detoxification. Not an alternative to medically recommended treatment but is recommended as complimentary.
Can help to improve circulation by helping the blood cells move, increasing oxygen levels and pushing out toxins. Red Light therapy is not an alternative to medically recommended treatment but is recommended as complimentary.
Wellness
Extremely beneficial for your skin cells, especially the cells that produce collagen and keep your skin firm and smooth.
Collagen, a protein that makes up about 80 percent of the skin, provides the structure for skin, which is what keeps it feeling firm. Elastin is the protein that makes skin stretch and bounce back. Without these key proteins, the skin has no support and no elasticity. The key to restoring firmness and elasticity is to stimulate healthy collagen production that will support the skin. Red light is proven to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
Improves skin complexion and feeling, reduces skin roughness and increases collagen density. It is a safe, non-invasive way to improve your overall skin condition
It works by stimulating the mitochondria in your cells and promoting collagen production. In other words, it works from the inside out:
Smooths skin tone
Reduces wrinkles through collagen production
Improves skin texture and firmness
Creates a radiant looking appearance
Delivers red light and near infrared light photons to your skin. These photons interact with the mitochondria to stimulate ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production, which is basically cellular energy. Giving your cells more energy helps them reverse damage and can help to reduces the signs of aging including wrinkles, fine lines and age spots.
Stimulates collagen production which can also help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Psoriasis – can help reduces itchiness and inflammation and improve the visible signs of redness and hardening & scaling of the skin. Red light can be an effective, natural treatment for the skin condition, psoriasis and help speed the healing process of skin in general. Red Light therapy should not be used as an alternative to your treatment from your GP or dermatologist. It can be complimentary and works deep below the surface of your skin to help soothe and repair tissue.
Eczema – can help reduces itchiness and inflammation. Red light can be an effective, natural treatment for eczema and help speed the healing process of skin in general. Red Light therapy should not be used as an alternative to your treatment from your GP or dermatologist. It can be complimentary and works deep below the surface of your skin to help soothe and repair tissue.
Rosacea – can help reduces redness, flushing, broken capillaries and ease itchiness. Red light can be an effective, natural treatment for rosacea and help speed the healing process of skin in general. Red Light therapy should not be used as an alternative to your treatment from your GP or dermatologist. It can be complimentary and works deep below the surface of your skin to help soothe and repair tissue.
Inflammatory acne – can promote healing and can work to decrease the visibility of acne scarring. It also has anti-inflammatory capabilities. Red Light therapy should not be used as an alternative to your treatment from your GP or dermatologist. It can be complimentary and works deep below the surface of your skin to help soothe and repair tissue.
Can help to encourage better sleep by stimulating the production of melatonin a naturally occurring hormone which helps you sleep. It has a soothing effect on the body, and it’s the most conducive wavelength of light for a good night’s sleep.
Light plays a major role in your sleep; the body’s circadian rhythm interprets light as a sign of when to sleep and when to be awake.
Has been proven to be a safe, natural way to speed up the healing process for burns, wounds, surgery incisions and scars. It promotes tissue repair through increased fibroblast and collagen production and can reduce inflammation which makes it optimal for treating wounds. If you have a wound, you should seek medical advice before using red light therapy.
Stimulates the reduction of fibrotic tissue and the replacement of normal tissue reducing visible scarring.
Works to reduce cellulite as light photons are absorbed by the mitochondria and energy production in the cells is stimulated. It also stimulates fibroblasts which help to increases collagen production and restore elasticity.
Increases ATP production, collagen production and blood flow to the exposed area. This boosts the body’s healing mechanisms and can help stretch marks fade and blend in with the surrounding tissue.
Fitness
Stimulates the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which is the energy molecule that powers all cell activity. This increase in cell activity can improve muscle strength and endurance.
Stimulates your body’s natural self-healing process. It increases blood flow and stimulates cell regeneration. This means it can help speed up your recovery process as well as increase strength prior to your work out. You can use red light therapy before and after your workouts.
Can also help to reduce inflammation that damages cells and makes muscles sore.
It helps the mitochondria in muscular cells complete their respiration cycle more efficiently, which makes the muscles suffer less fatigue. Improving the mitochondrial respiration cycle leads to better activation and formation of the muscle stem cells that eventually develop into healthy muscle tissue.
Can help to reduce inflammation by stimulating cellular repair and regeneration.
Helps decrease inflammation where mitochondria are present in the tissue, joints, and other body organs.
RedLight & Infrared Therapy can increase cellular energy (ATP) which can help to lower inflammation and stress. Red Light therapy is not an alternative to medically recommended treatment but is recommended as complimentary.
